何かに深く関わったり、夢中になったり、思わず巻き込まれている状態を表します。意図せず忙しくなったり、感情が強く動かされた場合にも使います。

'caught up in'はフォーマル・カジュアル両方で使われ、後ろに名詞や動名詞が続きます（例: 'caught up in work'）。物理的な「捕まる」意味ではなく、心理的・感情的に巻き込まれる意味です。
