Definition
通常由木材或金屬製成的盒子，用於安放逝者遺體以便下葬或火化。'Casket' 偶爾也指裝貴重物品的裝飾盒。

'Casket' 在美式英文指棺材，英式則多用 'coffin'。有時也指珠寶盒，但現今主要是葬禮用。'Caskets' 是複數，用於喪禮語境中。
