Generalmente se usa de forma positiva, para expresar una fuerte atracción o fascinación. Común con 'by' o 'with' en inglés: 'captivated by her voice.' Es más formal o literario que 'interesado' o 'gustado.' No se usa para cosas físicas que capturan.
