Tam olarak anlamadan, sadece ezberleyerek veya otomatik şekilde bir şey yapmak ya da öğrenmek.

Genellikle eğitimde 'learn', 'study' gibi fiillerle kullanılır; yaratıcılıktan ve anlamaktan uzak, genellikle olumsuz bir anlam taşır.
