鄉下（口語）偏遠地區（非正式）

Definition

一個非正式、常帶幽默色彩的詞，指遠離城市和便利設施的偏遠鄉村地區。

極為口語化，有時帶有戲謔或輕微貶義。通常和 'the' 一起使用（'in the boonies'）。不適合正式場合。和 '鄉下' 類似，但語氣更誇張。

My grandparents live out in the boonies.

我祖父母住在**鄉下**。
