軍隊やバリケードなどの力によって、場所への出入りができなくなっている状態。主に港や都市、道路などに対して使われます。

主に軍事や政治的な状況、あるいは抗議活動で使われます。「封鎖された港」や「封鎖された都市」など。「封鎖された」は組織的かつ継続的な遮断を意味します。
