Definition

面取りは、物の端を垂直ではなく斜めの角度に切ったり削ったりする加工です。ガラスや金属、木工などでよく使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に技術、木工、金属加工分野で使います。「edge beveling」「glass beveling」「metal beveling」といった表現でよく見られます。名詞形（ベベル）はこの形では使いません。
