Definition

道路の表面にできたくぼみや穴で、天候や車の通行によって発生し、運転を不便または危険にすることがある。

主に道路の穴に使われ、他の場所の穴（地面や壁など）には使いません。「pothole」や「道路の穴」という表現が一般的です。

There is a big bache in the middle of the street.

通りの真ん中に大きな**穴**がある。
