Definition
‘অস্তা’ বলতে কোনো জিনিস দাঁড় করিয়ে রাখতে ব্যবহৃত খুঁটি বোঝায়, বা পশুর শিং বোঝাতে পারে।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
‘asta de bandera’ মানে ‘ফ্ল্যাগপোল’। ‘auction’ (নিলাম)-এর অর্থে এই শব্দটি ব্যবহার করবেন না; সেটা ভিন্ন (‘subasta’)।
