"as the crow flies" in Japanese
Definition
二つの地点間を真っ直ぐ線で結んだ時の最短距離で、道路や障害物などは考慮しません。

実際の移動距離ではなく、あくまで地図上の直線的な距離に使います。「as the crow flies」部分は距離説明や道案内の際によく使われます。
