Definition

यह बताने के लिए प्रयोग होता है कि कोई चीज़ कब से शुरू होती है या किसी विशेष तारीख/समय पर कोई स्थिति क्या है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अक्सर औपचारिक या व्यावसायिक भाषा में आता है। प्रायः तारीख या समय के बाद आता है ('as of 1st April')। इसका मतलब कारण नहीं है। 'since' (अवधि) से न मिलाएँ।
