إبلاغ شخص ما بشيء ما بطريقة رسمية، عادة بمعلومات أو تحديثات هامة.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

كلمة 'apprise' رسمية وتُستخدم غالباً في الكتابة أو في السياقات القانونية/الأعمال، وغالباً تتبعها 'of' (مثلاً: 'apprise someone of something'). في الكلام اليومي يُستخدم 'inform' أو 'let someone know' أكثر.
