Definition

薬剤によって感覚や意識が失われる状態です。痛みを感じさせないために医療処置の際に使われます。全身麻酔と局所麻酔があります。

主に医療用語です。「麻酔下」「局所麻酔」「全身麻酔」などの表現で使います。「鎮痛」とは異なる意味なので注意。
