他人のために進んで手助けしたり、相手に合わせてくれる人。親切で柔軟な性格を持つ。

ややフォーマルで良い意味を持つ言葉です。人に使うことが多く（「an accommodating host」など）、親切で柔軟な態度を表します。「accommodate」（動詞）とは混同しないよう注意しましょう。

The staff at the hotel were very accommodating.

ホテルのスタッフはとても**親切**でした。
