La medida de qué tan ancho es algo de un lado al otro.

Se usa en contextos técnicos, matemáticos y cotidianos. Normalmente va junto con 'length' (longitud) y 'height' (altura). Ejemplos comunes: 'the width of the table', 'adjust the width'. No confundir con 'length' (lado largo) o 'depth' (profundidad).
