"walk ahead of" in Japanese

Definition

他の人やものより前を歩くことです。自分が進行方向で先頭にいる状態を指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

物理的に前を歩く意味のみで使います。'lead'（導く）とは違い、単に先に歩くときに使われます。例：'walk ahead of me'（先に歩く）など。
