スピリチュアルズは、アメリカの奴隷時代にアフリカ系アメリカ人によって作られた宗教的な民謡のことです。信仰や希望、自由への願いが込められています。

「スピリチュアルズ」はほとんど常に複数形で使われ、アフリカ系アメリカ人の歴史に根ざした音楽ジャンルを指します。「spiritual」（精神的な）とは異なります。
