Participar num exame ou prova, ou posar sentado para uma fotografia ou retrato.
Usage Notes (Portuguese (PT))
Expressão formal e mais usada no inglês britânico. Aplica-se a exames ('sit for an exam') e a posar ('sit for a painting'). Não quer dizer só sentar-se; não confundir com 'sit in'.
