Definition
ডাক অফিস থেকে পাঠানো চিঠি বা পার্সেলে লাগানো একটি অফিসিয়াল ছাপ বা সিল, যা কখন ও কোথা থেকে পাঠানো হয়েছে তা জানায়।

সাধারণত বিশেষ্য হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়; প্রমাণ হিসেবে পোস্টমার্কের তারিখ গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। 'a dated postmark' বা 'check the postmark' মতো বাক্যে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
