Definition
プロジェクトや任務が、当初の目標を超えて少しずつ広がってしまうこと。新しい仕事や責任が増える場合に使います。

ビジネスや軍事、行政の現場で、計画外の業務拡大に注意する時に使われる表現です。「mission creep を避ける」などと使います。
