Definition

郵便物などを他人の住所で受け取る時、その人の気付で送ることを指します。通常「c/o」や「気付」と書きます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に封筒や小包の宛名に書きます。「気付」「c/o」と省略されることが多く、会話ではほとんど使いません。友人間のカジュアルな受け渡しには使いません。

Examples

Send the package in care of Jane Smith at this address.

この住所で**気付** Jane Smith 宛てに荷物を送ってください。

Write 'c/o' or 'in care of' before the person's name on the envelope.
