内向きに崩壊する崩壊する

Definition

何かが急に内側に崩れ落ちたり、激しく崩壊すること。または、組織や感情などが突然破綻する意味もある。

主に科学・工事・組織崩壊などの場面で使われるやや堅めの表現。'explode'（外向きに爆発する）と区別すること。比喩で精神的な崩壊にも用いる。

The old building will implode when the charges go off.

爆薬が爆発すると、古い建物は**内向きに崩壊**するでしょう。
