「ゴッドファーザーたち」とは、洗礼の際に子どもの精神的な後見人となる男性や、組織や犯罪集団のリーダー・守護者を指します。宗教的または犯罪・マフィアの場面で使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

宗教的な文脈では「洗礼のゴッドファーザー」、犯罪関連では「マフィアのゴッドファーザー」など、場面に応じた意味がある。「godparents」は性別を問わず複数形で使われる。
