बोलचाल की अंग्रेजी में प्रयोग होता है, जब कोई चुपचाप पीछा करने वाले से बच निकलता है। 'slip' यहाँ कागज़ नहीं, चालाकी से भागने का मतलब है। अक्सर कथाओं में मिलता है।
