"for your information" in Japanese

ご参考までにご参考

Definition

この表現は、相手に知っておいてほしい情報を伝える時に使われます。場合によっては、少しきつい感じになることもあります。

メールなどでは英語の『FYI』がそのまま使われることもあります。話すときは丁寧にも、時には皮肉っぽくもなり得ます。文の最初に使うのが一般的です。

For your information, the meeting starts at 9 a.m.

**ご参考までに**、会議は午前9時に始まります。

I'm not going to the party tonight, for your information.
