건물이나 구조물을 완전히 무너뜨리거나 철거하는 것. 비유적으로 상대방을 크게 이긴다는 의미로도 사용됨.

'철거하다'는 주로 건물이나 큰 구조물에 씁니다. 스포츠에서 크게 이길 때도 사용됩니다. 작은 물체에는 '부수다'가 더 적절합니다.
