총합, 필수 조건, 점수, 공식 기록의 일부로 인정되다.

학업, 평가, 공식 문서 등에서 많이 쓰임. 'count for'(가치가 있다)와 혼동하지 않게 주의. 공식적으로 인정되는 것에만 사용.
