物事を制限したり、自由にできなくする条件やルールのこと。特に時間や予算などの制約を指すことが多いです。

ビジネスや学術書、技術的な場面でよく使われます。『time constraints（時間的制約）』『budget constraints（予算の制約）』のような形で用います。単数形より複数形が一般的です。

There are many constraints on what we can do at work.

職場では私たちができることに多くの**制約**があります。
