まき餌をするとは、魚を引き寄せるためにエサを水中に撒くことです。時にはカジュアルに仲良くする意味でも使われます。

主に釣り用語として使われますが、カジュアルには友達と仲良く過ごす意味もあります。「chumming around」は特に一緒に遊ぶことを指します。
