イギリスのカジュアルな表現で、非常に激しく雨が降っていることを表します。雨が一気にたくさん降る様子を指します。

とてもカジュアルでイギリス英語特有の表現です。他の液体のことには使いません。類似表現は “it’s pouring” や “raining cats and dogs”。
