メリーゴーランドは、動物などの形をした座席が回転する遊具です。また、空港で荷物を受け取るための回転するベルトも指します。

「メリーゴーランド」は遊園地、イベント会場、公園などでよく使います。空港での荷物受取ベルトにもそのまま使う場合がありますが、多くはコンテキストで判断します。
