"at your heels" in Spanish
Definition
Muy cerca de ti, siguiéndote de cerca. Puede referirse a alguien que camina justo detrás de ti o a algo que te persigue o compite contigo de cerca.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa mucho en sentido figurado para competencia ('la competencia está tras de ti'), o literalmente ('el perro va a tus talones'). Es principalmente informal. No confundir con 'on your heels', que significa más bien 'inmediatamente después'.
