원할 때 아무 제약 없이 자유롭게 행동하거나 할 수 있는 것.

주로 공식적, 법률적 맥락에서나, 'fire at will', 'come and go at will' 같은 고정된 구에서 사용됩니다. 일상 회화에서는 드물게 쓰입니다. 'willingly'(기꺼이)와는 다릅니다.

You may leave the meeting at will.

회의를 **마음대로** 떠나셔도 됩니다.

Birds can come and go at will in this park.

이 공원에서는 새들이 **마음대로** 드나들 수 있다.

She can access the library at will.
