परिभाषा
বীমা হলো এমন একটি ব্যবস্থা যেখানে আপনি নিয়মিত অর্থ প্রদান করেন, যাতে কোনো দুর্ঘটনা বা ক্ষতি হলে কোম্পানি আপনার খরচ বহন করে।

বীমার সাধারণ ধরন হলো 'স্বাস্থ্য বীমা', 'গাড়ির বীমা', ও 'বাড়ির বীমা'। সাধারণত 'insurance' অগণন যোগ্য, তাই বলি 'insurance', 'an insurance' নয়। 'buy insurance', 'get insurance', 'have insurance', 'offer insurance', 'cover insurance'— এ ধরনের ক্রিয়া ব্যবহৃত হয়।
