অফিশিয়াল ভাষাতেও এবং কথ্য ভাষাতেও ব্যবহৃত; 'ahead of schedule', 'ahead of everyone' ইত্যাদি বাক্যাংশে বেশি ব্যবহৃত। 'in advance'-এর সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
