Definition

「販売中」とは、そのものが現在購入できる状態にあることを意味します。

「販売中」は主に家や車などの商品や物件広告で使います。「セール中（on sale）」より中立的で、割引を意味しません。「put something 販売中」は売りに出すことを意味します。サービスにはあまり使いません。

Their house is up for sale.
