Definition

걸레나 물걸레 등으로 바닥이나 표면을 닦아 깨끗하게 했다는 뜻이다. 주로 물을 사용한다.

주로 바닥 청소에 사용되지만, 걸레질이 가능한 표면 모두에 쓸 수 있다. 빗자루로 쓸다('빗질하다')와 혼동하지 말 것. 비교적 일상적 표현.
