Definition

누군가나 무언가를 아래쪽 위치로 인도하거나 안내하는 것을 의미합니다. 실제 움직임이나 부정적인 결과로 이끌 때 모두 사용됩니다.

주로 계단, 통로, 길 등 실제 이동에 쓰입니다. 그러나 'lead down a dangerous path' 등 결과가 좋지 않은 상황에도 비유적으로 사용됩니다.

The stairs lead down to the garden.

계단이 정원으로 **아래로 이어집니다**.
