এটি কথ্য ভাষায় বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং খুব দ্রুত কিছু ঘটার বর্ণনা দিতে বলা হয়। 'চোখের পলকে' বলে ঘটনাটির তীব্র দ্রুততা বোঝানো হয়।
