Definition

“In line” 可以表示排隊等候，也可以表示與某事一致或符合。

通常是口語用法。美國常說“stand in line”表示排隊，“in line with”表示與...一致。英式英語多用 queue 來表達排隊。不要和“online”（上網）混淆。

We waited in line for tickets.
