Definition

在別人不在家的時候住在他們家，並幫忙照看房子，有時也會照顧寵物或植物。

屬於非正式用語，幾乎總是用作動詞（'to housesit'）。常與 'for' 搭配（housesit for my neighbor）。多見於主人長期外出時。不要和 'babysit'（照顧小孩）混淆。
