Definition

何かがすでに消えたものと同じように消え去ったり、時代遅れになること。

この表現はフォーマルまたは文学的な場面で使われます。後ろに名詞（例：恐竜）が来ることが多いです。日常会話ではあまり使いません。

多くの古い伝統が恐竜のように**消えていった**。
