Estar ao leme ou no comando de algo, especialmente de uma organização ou grupo. Originalmente significava comandar um navio, mas hoje é usado para liderança.

Expressão mais formal/metafórica usada para liderança, especialmente em negócios e política. Não é usada para controle físico comum, mas para liderar grupos. Diz-se: 'estar ao leme de (algo)'. Pode sugerir responsabilidade em situações difíceis.
