Definición

「tread」の過去形で、何かの上を歩いたり踏んだりすること。力を入れて踏む場合もある。

文語的で会話ではほとんど使われません。「trod the path」など特定の表現で使われます。「tried」と混同しないでください。

He trod on a piece of glass and hurt his foot.
