何かをオン・オフしたり、2つの状態を切り替えるための小さなスイッチやボタン、またその切り替える動作のこと。

ITや電子機器でよく使われます。アプリ内や実物のスイッチどちらにも使われます。「toggle a setting」は設定を切り替えるという意味です。「switch」より限定的です。
