“終端”可以指旅客出發或抵達的場所（如機場、車站），也可指電器設備上的連接端子。

“終端”是複數，可指大型交通站點或電子設備的接線端子。常見語境如“巴士終端”、“機場終端”、“電池接線端子”。不要與“終末期疾病”之“terminal”混淆（不同意思）。
