움직임이나 행동, 사건이 멈추거나 그만두는 것 또는 일시적으로 중단되는 것.

'stop doing something'은 어떤 행동을 그만두는 것, 'stop by'는 잠깐 들르다는 뜻. 'pause'는 잠시 멈추는 것임에 주의.

Please stop talking during the movie.

영화 보는 동안 말하는 것을 **멈춰주세요**.
