山積み重ねる

Definición

山は物がきちんと重ねられている集まり。動詞では、そのように積み重ねることを言います。

「本の山」「椅子を山積みにする」などによく使う。「pile」は無秩序な積み方も含むが、「山」はきっちり積む時によく使う。IT分野では別の意味もあるが、日常会話では物理的な山を指す。

There is a stack of plates on the table.

テーブルの上にお皿の**山**がある。
