Definición

誰かから大切なものや価値のあるものを不当に、または力づくで取り上げること。能力や機会などを失わせる場合にも使う。

直訳の奪うだけでなく、比喩的に（例：夢を奪う）でも使います。何を誰から奪うのかが続きます。'steal from'（どこから盗むか）とは使い方が異なります。
