무엇인가를 안에 있거나 붙어있는 자리에서 힘이나 에너지를 써서 갑자기 떼어내거나 찢어내는 것.

갑작스럽고 강한 힘을 동반한 상황에 쓰이며, 신체적이거나 비유적으로도 사용 가능하다. 'rip [object] out of [location]' 구조로 많이 쓴다. 단순히 '제거하다'보다 더 과격한 뉘앙스를 준다.
